For your app/online ordering users, it is helpful to understand how long an order will take to be prepared. As a result, SpeedETab allows you to set an estimated order preparation time to give users an idea of how long their order will take before ordering and to provide those users with an order ETA upon completing their order. From the SpeedETab Dashboard, you can easily set an estimated preparation time for your orders.
Here's how to set your venue's estimated order preparation time on SpeedETab:
1. Navigate to the SpeedETab Dashboard and sign in with your SpeedETab account. (If you do not remember your account password, you can reset it here.)
2. Select your venue on the Home page. This should bring you to the Location Settings page for the necessary location.
3. Remain on the top section of the page - Location Details - and locate the Estimated Preparation Time field. Click the blue Edit button in the bottom left to begin changing the value.
4. After clicking the Edit button, scroll to the middle of the field list to find the Estimated Order Preparation Time field. Input a positive number (no decimals) to denote the number of minutes order take, on average, to be prepared. Scroll down and hit the green Save button when done.
For Toast integrations partners, your order prep time should also be updated from your Toast backend at this page. Please update the 'Online Ordering/Order API Prep Time' value to be used for SpeedETab orders.
